Decanters

Decanters and centrifuges are used for the separation of solids from liquids or for the separation of liquids with different densities (liquid mixtures). 

• Solid-liquid separation
• Solid-liquid-liquid separation 

Depending on requirements, 2-phase decanters or 3-phase decanters achieve high separation efficiencies with solids, oil and water.

Typical applications for decanters are, for example, the treatment of waste oil, MARPOL oil, oily sludges from lagoons or coal tar. A self-cleaning separator for fine clarification of the liquid phases can be installed downstream.
